A “roll-to-sheet” system combines the advantages of a roll printing system (e.g. printing speed, low-cost consumables) with the positive features of a printer for format goods (e.g. sheets with a clean cut edge that are easy to process).
For this purpose, the additional cutting module is integrated into an existing web printing system (printing system & fusing unit), with the result that the printing process, the application and gelling of the hotmelt adhesive as well as the cutting on format goods can take place inline – this then only needs to be transferred to the textile.
This complete DTF solution is suitable for large order quantities and efficient but flexible production of finished DTF transfer sheets.
The roll-to-sheet cutter has been designed so that it can be integrated into the application at a later date, regardless of the manufacturer, as long as the fusing unit is operated using a conveyor belt.

Here, the print data (incl. registration mark) is printed on an inkjet-coated DTF film.
The fusing unit is where the hot-melt adhesive granulate is applied and the fusing process takes place (the hot-melt adhesive granulate changes from powder form to a jelly-like state).
Roll material is fed in here and cut to size. The optical register mark recognition recognizes the previously printed register mark and triggers the cut – so finished transfer sheets up to a format of 800 x 500 mm can be cut. The transfers are stacked in the display or can be removed at any time if required.
In contrast to a roll printing system, the roll-to-sheet systems also have a cutting unit.
In conjunction with a manual stack cutter, smaller motifs can also be cut precisely to size – for maximum efficiency of your DTF transfer printing!
From the roll to the finished sheet: with film widths of 450 mm, sheets measuring 450 x 330 mm can be easily cut – allowing further processing,
even without having to remove the print control strip first.
Height-adjustable machine feet: compatible with common DTF systems on the market (provided the fusing unit is operated using a belt/conveyor belt)
